The All Blacks
are the most successful international men’s rugby side of all-time with a winning percentage of 76.77% over 637 Tests (1903-2023).
Since playing their first Test match in 1903, the All Blacks
have amassed numerous accolades and are considered one of the most prolific teams across any sport. The All Blacks
are the first rugby team to win 500 Test matches and have three Rugby World Cups to their name, winning the title in 2011 and 2015, adding to the inaugural Cup they claimed in 1987. They have also won 10 of the 16 Tri-Nations trophies, seven of the nine Rugby Championships contested, and have most recently have held the Bledisloe Cup for 20 years (2003-2023). The All Blacks
also won the Tri-Nations in 2020 contested against Australia and Argentina.
Each carving is handcrafted from Genuine NZ Greenstone. Each piece is unique in the greenstone used and the design carved. This is an example of the carving that you will receive, you will not receive this exact piece but one that is very similar.
Roimata/Teardrop - Named for their teardrop shape, meaning tears of sadness or grief, and are widely regarded as touchstones in healing and meditation. It is often called the comfort stone and given to show sympathy, shared emotion and that they, the receiver, is not alone in their grief. The drop pendants are also believed to represent a connection to the whenua (the land) Aotearoa (New Zealand).
All carvings are packaged in an All Blacks
display case with a hologram authenticity sticker and Genuine NZ Greenstone Information card. They are hand bound in our Bespoke All Blacks
