These gorgeous greenstone Pito (Umbilical Cord) cutters are made from natural pounamu stone and sharpened into a blade for cutting.
Our stunning range of Pito cutters are sourced from the South Island Greenstone. These are a natural tool that can be used to cut the umbilical cord when your pēpi is born.
Once they have been used they can then be re-sharpened and used again or they can be kept as a taonga for your pēpi.
Each Pito cutter comes with it’s own native Rimu block to cut on.
